Abe Ostrovsky, Chairman of the Board – Centerbeam, Inc.

Abe is the Chairman of the Board of Centerbeam, Inc., a private company headquartered in San Jose, California. Ostrovsky joined the Board in 1999 and was elected Chairman in 2002. Centerbeam is an information technology firm with operations in forty-five countries, providing IP services and support to small and medium size companies. Investors in Centerbeam include Crosspoint Venture Partners, Accel Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Microsoft and Intel.

Ostrovsky was most recently a director of NetManage (Nasdaq:NETM) since January, 1998 serving on the Audit and Compensation committees and the company’s Disclosure (Sarbanes Oxley) committee. NetManage was acquired by a private company in 2008.

Previously, Ostrovsky was Chairman of Accelio Corporation (Nasdaq:ACLO). After joining Accelio (formerly named Jetform Corporation) as COO in 1991, Ostrovsky became CEO the following year shepherding Accelio through a public offering until its acquisition in 2002 by Adobe.

Mark Jordan, VP – Mercado

Mark Jordan is Vice President of Worldwide Customer Advocacy at Mercado. Measured on customer delight, he is the custodian of the customer’s interest within the organization. His team partners with customers to assure they are getting the most out of Mercado product and services. Past experience includes 15 years of product management and software development focused on user interfaces and workflow optimization. Mark holds 2 patents and has 3 others pending. Prior to Mercado, Mark worked for Apple Computers, Bank of America, and Jefferies & Co., where he led development efforts focused on optimizing user productivity. Mark holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Jim Pease, Principal – W.H. Mayer

Before joining W.H. Mayer in 1988, Jim worked in the East Bay office of Ernst & Young. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and his M.S. in Taxation from William Howard Taft University. Jim is chairperson of the UNCLE credit union and treasurer and co-founder of Community To People, a not-for-profit corporation that uses community-based loans to help local individuals overcome short-term economic crises. Jim’s areas of special expertise include business and individual taxation planning as it relates to flow-through entities such as partnerships, LLCs and S corporations.
